Default Luk Gold/Fidanza slipping, hydraulics??

Hi guys. I have an 02 Z06 w/ bolt-ons and just finished breaking in a Luk Gold/Fidanza and an LS2 slave. I have launched the car about 10 times in the past couple of weeks on Nitto's @ about 4K and it does leave nicely but by the time I hit second I can smell the clutch. I changed the hydraulic fluid while doing the install (RBF 600) and also removed the assist spring under the clutch pedal so I have those bases covered. I talked to Tom at Carolina Clutch and he thinks it might be a hydraulic problem and that I may need to do the "drill mod" to the slave, a major PIA on my car. Thanks for reading.
