I just got back from driving my car to get some miles on my Textralia clutch. I did a fast 3-4 shift and WOW, it grabs hard. It sounded like it almost chirped the tires.

I've got about 2K miles and very little chatter at a real low RPM. It feels almost stock to me. Anyone got any real good runs down on the track? Like back to back runs?
I want to see some 5 or 6K dumps on these clutches.

Almost no chatter here with less than 500 miles. Nothing like a SPEC.

i found out the best way to break in this clutch is get stuck in the traffic and heat up the clutch and go home park the car let clutch cool down. and do it again next day.

after that get on it hard and the clutch will acting quite bit different(GOOD). then there will be almost no chatter, smoother engagement.

i am glad everyone that try this clutch like it. jeff just call me last night to check on me to see hows my clutch doing. never have anyone call me to check on the product i bought. i have got this clutch few month and the support from peter and jeff are great.

oh it's insane! i've done several back to back 6500 RPM drops on it, hot lapping it that is, still drives great, loads of heavy traffic time on it. i cannot say enough excelent things about it! it is SERIOUSLY worth the money! drives excelent, and the only time i get chatter is for a few starts after i wash it, or if it rains. i don't drive it in the rain but it does get wet. and it's very minimal, and only does it once, maybe twice.

Have any of you guys had the dreaded clutch pedal sticking to the floor or the mushy pedal/slipping clutch syndrome before you put this gold plated beast in? I'm wondering because all you guys that have this clutch make it out to be the fix of all fixes. What kind of problems did you have before this clutch besides burning up a Spec or exploding a Ram? Did this clutch fix anything else besides it grabs good and doesn't chatter? I don't want to spend $1000 if this sucker doesn't get rid of all my clutch problems.

I still have a mushy pedal and on a back to back run it stuck to the floor on the 2nd run going into 2nd gear. I just drilled it and re-blead it again. I think I need to wrap the line also.

I wasnt havin any hydraulic issues before i put the Textralia in..so hopefully i wont have any with the new one....only issue i had was weldin the damn spec to the flywheel and ungodly amount of chatter in 1st gear. i cant tell you if its well worth the money as of yet cause i havent made any passes on it...but we shall see. all i can say is, so far there is virtually no chatter and the clutch feels better and better every time i drive it...pedal was engaging about 2 inches off the floor...now has come up about 1/2-3/4 of an inch...its real easy to slip the clutch to get it moving..and my pedal feels completely stock. im loving it so far.

ewww...I didn't want to hear that. Hopefully you just still have air in the lines an will be able to remedy that. Do you have a Mighty Vac?
