How do I replace the plug behing the pilot bearing?

Default How do I replace the plug behing the pilot bearing?

I have oil laking at the bottom of my bell housing. How do i replacing it? Is there a method i need to go by to replace it? Or does the motor need to come out?

Any help greatly appriciated

sure it's not the rear main seal ?

I think he's talking about the oil plug in the crank that some people pop out of place when using the grease/wet toilet paper method to remove the pilot bearing. I don't know how to replace it though...

I believe you have to pull the oil pan off the repair this. I have not done this myself just going off from memory and previous threads regarding this. Try the search feature.
