Spec II... Rebuilt Transmission = Crazy Chatter I just got my transmission rebuilt and my Spec II installed with Jason at Texas Drivetrain Performance. So far I noticed that the tranny is very smooth and quit. I had my shift fork replaced with a steel one since my factory one was broke into 4 pieces. I also had to replace the ¾ slider gear, and 4th gear. It seems like the clutch has quit a bit of chatter, will this go away after it settle in? It seems like the more I drive it the more chatter it has.

i have a spec III and after 1500 miles it is pretty much broke in. it will chatter if i try to, but that is only letting out on the clutch at very low rpm's.
other than that it grabs f'n hard.

It should break in... Its like most things on a car... such as your gears... They need to develope a pattern! Give it a lil time and if the problem consists... take it back to the shop and see what they say!
