Default what is a pilot and release bearing?

i bought an extended warranty with my car, and looks like my slave cylinder is going out. clutch pedal is not coming back up and i have to pull it with my foot.

the warranty i have will not cover those parts (pilot and release bearings), but didn't say anything about master and slave cylinder. so i'm hoping i can get the warranty to cover that.

The pilot bearing is the bearing at the end of the crankshaft that the end of the transmission mainshaft sits in. Not expensive. The release bearing is the one on the slave. Also not expensive.
