Default trans clutch problems

Tonight I went to the track to try out my new et streets. Well the centerforce clutch would not hold. Launching at 5000-5500 the clutch just slipped badly. So I am going to be needing a clutch soon. Now my other problem is that I could not get the car to go into 2nd gear on either pass. Would that problem be caused by the clutch or do I have a trans problem again.

If the clutch was slipping bad there's a good chance the 2nd gear problem is clutch related. Does it go into 2nd during normal driving? Does it go in easier at certain RPM's?

Yeah it goes into gear fine under normal driving, I was only having a problem when running it hard at the track.

Sounds like your clutch...have you bled it yet?
