Default CenterForce Dual Friction

Hey I just put in a centerforce dual friction clutch. I used the stock flywheel and resurfaced it. And I was easy on it for 500 miles. But when I get on it, it shudders and dosent like grabbing . It shuddered so bad that the check engine light came on a few times . Anyone know whats up with it?

I just drove it again and it gets worse as it warms up.

the main problem you have is the resurfaced flywheel.when you had it resurfaced it threw it out of balance.I had the same problem w/ my dual friction centerforce in my 2002 ws-6 . When i had it put in they resurfaced my stock flywheel and it vibrated the car around 2000 rpms. I found out the next day that turning the flywheel is a no no . so another lesson learned the hard way .

I was looking at getting the same clutch. looks like i need to get a new flywheel to go with it to work correctly or can i have it resurfaced and balenced?

guys, i had several clutches, zo6 and the centerforce, there flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, didnt last me a year. was okay to drive around shuddered some if you slipped it alot (like trying to take off infront of police ) if i can reccommend the aussie clutch, it's great. no shudder, nice peddle, sticks when you drop it, and it's all balanced together, no vibration anywhere. seriously a nice piece and well worth the money
