spec, mcleod, ram?????
we need to replace my clutch assem and flywheel....
the car is a 2000 ss with a few mods nothing radical(slp headers, 411 gear, 1/8 rockers)
had a centerforce clutch and was told a z06 clutch from gm would do good but then was told a spec 4 would do better.
what do yall think is the best clutch assem.????
thanks for the advice in advance!!

i am facing this choice as well. Lots of people say don't go with spec because lately i've seen quite a few problems with them, perhaps it's hit or miss. The mcleod and ram are expensive though, so it's a tough choice.

my dad has a 99 supercharged cobra and he's got a ram clutch and likes it and does the job.. ive heard good and bad things about spec clutches..i think the most you would need would be a spec stage 3. good luck guys with ur choice.. hope this helped any?

Try the manual transmission section. Use the search button to read lots of feedback from others. I'm an A4 guy so it doesn't mean much (if anything) but i like the twin disk McLeod. It'll cost you though!
