clicking sound

Default clicking sound

when i turn my car on coming from under it i get a clicking sound and as you go through the rpms it gets faster. i got up under my car and its coming from inside the tranny. does anybody know what it may be.

Probably a pilot bearing, but it could be something internal to the trans contacting the input shaft or something on the friction plate rattling.

would the pilot bearing be expensive to replace?

Parts are cheap, but you have to pull the trans to get to it. $15-$30

I highly doubt its your pilot bearning, not that it couldn't be but I just doubt it. Your pilot bearing isn't even underload in nuetral. Check that all your spark plugs are tight. Then think about lifters, rods, bearings.
