Default Skip Shift Cell Broke off Tranny

I never installed the skip shift eliminator, however there is one installed (i guess previous owner) so I don't know how it would install nor messed with it, all I know is that the actual housing on the tranny was never hooked up to anything, but after transporting the Tranny the housing broke, would it mess anything up or no??? Was it even connected to anything or no?

You mean you broke the top off the solenoid?
It will be OK I guess, you need the resistor piece to put in the vehicle harness also. The one on the solenoid is just a cap to keep it from the elements.
I would try to seal that solenoid up if you could w/ whatever, epoxy etc......

With the elim. installed in the harness ,the solenoid does nothing. In fact, you can leave it disconnected. Use whatever means you can to seal up the solenoid so debris does not enter the trans.
