Textrellia works too good........broke my rear today!
Not even at the track, which I was going tommorow
Wierd noise the whole ride home.
Pulled over, took a look. Nothin leakin
Figured it was the duals resonating (they are touching the torque arm bar)
Stopped again on shoulder. On an uphill, car did not roll backward. Bad sign #1. Pull forward a lil...clunk, clunk, clunk.......
After speakin with Brian and my mech, we are pretty much positive I sheared my gears. Could not get the car off the flatbed. Wont roll backwards
Had to put it in reverse and power thru the dead spot, then I can make a full tire rotation till it locks again.
Figures, happens on the way home after a 12 hour day.
The day "befor" track day, with the baby due in 2 months :sulk:
They are gonna install some new richmond 373's, stronger girdle, etc..............On my credit card.....ouch
*I always imagined it would happen at the track and I would know when it did. I had no clue what was happening till it happened.
For conversation sake: I had 94,000 miles on the rear (about 65,000 on the richmond 373's) with a slipping clutch. Installed bad *** Aussie clutch + nittos + 383hp =
Updates as we go. Cant afford 12 bolt yet
And to Textrelia.......damn this clutch grabs
