clutch going to floor

clutch going to floor
I see the post below with the same title. But it didn't seem to answer my questions.
The issues I'm having has to do with my clutch. It is going to the floor or grabbing close to the floor. From the research I've done of the forum, it seems that my camaro ( 1998 Z28) has a slave cylinder. I'll trace the line tomorrow in the sunlight. :-)The camaro has 35,000 miles on it. I bought it in June. It's a fun car. I'm very happy with it.
Here are my questions:
Am I wrong about my car having a slave cylinder?
I haven't noticed any leaking around clutch master cylinder. Does this mean that the problem is with the slave cylinder?
Is my clutch a factor here?
The person from whom I bought the car did take the car to the track once or twice. I know this to be true because the person is a friend. So, I believe this estimate is truthful. Anyway, when he took it to the track on one of those occasions, the clutch went to the floor after he had driven it for a while. When the car cooled down, the clutch went back to working fine. Any relation?
I'm going to try to fix my problem tomorrow myself at a buddy's house. So, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Goto www.installuniversity.com and check it out. It shows you how to drill out the factory restriction in the clutch line. It helps make shifting smoother/quicker.

Thanks Steveo 346 and SmokinHawk.
To SmokinHawk:
What makes you think it might be the pressure plate? What are the fingers? I'm familiar enough with a pressure plate to know what it looks like. But I don't know exactly to what you are referring when you say the fingers.
To steveo346:
Yes I'm talking about what you say. However, the clutch never comes back up on its own unless I pump it except when I'm on the freeway. It does seem to well when I'm on the freeway.
Any thoughts
