Default Is this a broken tranny mount?

I pulled into the parking lot at my work today and when I was slowing down, I noticed a banging sound coming from the shifter. It becomes only apparent when I am under 20 mph or when I push in the clutch (although I think this may be due to the fact that that is when my exhaust is at it's quietest). I can feel the vibration, or clunking, coming up through the shifter and it sounds like it's going to break. I don't notice it as much once I get going. Now would this be a tranny mount (hopefully) or is there something wrong with my tranny (again)? Thanks.

sounds to me like it could be. I had something like that.. its either the transmission mount or one of the bolts that holds it is broken. Just go under there and disassemble the entire mount. Check all the rubber and all the bolts to make sure nothing is broken or cracked.

and if it is shot, [if youre not allready] consider a poly mount.

you should be able to see the shifter moving if it does its probably the mount or a bolt to it.

I have a similar clunking. I just went under the car and noticed that my torque arm mount is broken.
