Default How important is a Mighty-Vac?

Have any of you guys had success bleeding your clutch system the old fashioned way (depress pedal, open bleeder valve, close bleeder valve, etc.)? I did it after the clutch/slave install and it seemed to work OK. Now I'm about to install a Mcleod adjustable master and was wondering if it was worth my money to buy a mighty-vac and bleed it that way. I'd like to use a mighty-vac, but I don't want to spend that much if bleeding the other way will work just as fine? Is it worth the $60?!?

Thanks
