first off i just bought a black ss yesterday and it was 68 year old vietnam veterans car, its a 2002, perfect condition, i bought the extended warranty from for 3 years. I just wondered if it was normal that my clutch engaging at almost the end of the pedal, my clutch pedal comes out futher then my buddies 00 ws6, his clutch feels like it engages normal and it dosent make any noise, it just dont feel right, i drove a 5 speed mustang for almost a year before this. just wondering if that is how it is supposed to feel or not any response would be great
thanks i will get pics of the car soon

every car is different, it might have different clutch in it. some like clutch engage at top, some at bottom, me perfer middle.
i would think as long as drives fine, no noise, not slip. you should be fine

It is true that the engagement point differs from car to car. Unfortunately there are no adjustments on these things stock.

the clutch is probably worn it isent noticably sliping but it is probably at the top end , you would notice a big differnce (if you changed the clutch ) in power at the top end , and the pedal should come down maybe the guy didn't drive it properly and wore out the clutch its not that uncomman

If it dosent bother you leve it alone untill it is noticebly slipping but your probebly loosing about 20hp at the top end . I just got my car and its the same way I am looking to get a clutch as soon as I can get some extra money.

Just get a spec stage 3 so you're prepared once you catch the modding virus
