Default Cluth Pedal Problem?

I have a 96 LT-1 TA I just bought... and the clutch pedal is really hard to push down... And to top it down.. you have to push it down around 6-7" is there any fix to this or do i just have to deal with it ? Can it be adjusted to make it tighter?

well, on the lt1 car, you have one piece master and slave. the cause of heavy pedal can be different clutch with heavy pressure plate!!!
as far as adjustment, look under dash see if someone already put mcloud adjustable master in it(you can only adj the engagement of pedal, not the pressure.
if it still drive fine, just leave it.
