Default Spec 2 vs Spec 3

How big of a diffrence will there be in the way these 2 clutches drive. I have a friend with a stage 3 clutch in his car don't know the brand but unless you've been driveng the car for like a week it jerks you all over the place. Even after you learn hoe to drive it it engages so hard. He has a civic by the way so i don't know if you can compare the two. I don't want my car to be any more difficult to drive than stock really. So if my dad or brother takes it out they can drive it with out chirp the wheels every where. The power i'm looking at is pretty much stock but with the occasioanl 200 shot. I'm getting a 9" rear also

4th Gen... I suggest you call Thunder Racing. Right now they have the best prices on the Spec clutches... because of the 10% off hurricane sale.

Tell them what you want in terms of driveability, and they will point you in the right direction.

I would recommend skipping the stage 2 and going for the stage 3. It's not worth the work to only do a stage 2. I didn't feel the that the clutch pedal was any stiffer with a stage 3. After a week of driving, I was already used to how the clutch bites.

Last clutch was a stg2 worked great, did not hold up for forced induction. So went to stg5. I would say skip stg2 and go for stg3. If you are going to up the power.

I have the stage 2 but if I could do it over I'd go with the stage 3. It'll last longer when decide to keep adding more power.
