Default Slave cylinder covered under warranty??

Posted on here a couple days ago with little-no clutch peddle pressure and when I looked under the car I saw fluid where the gear box meets the bell housing. I assumed this was clutch fluid and I tried and tried to bleed the system with no results. A friend looked at it and said the slave cylinder may be gone. Is this covered under my GM extended warranty before I bring it to the dealer??

Due to the fact that you have a 02, I would say that it is under warranty. It is part of the drive train.

Thanks, I hope it is covered since I hate spending money on stuff that is supposed to be of good quality. Only about 25k miles on the car and the 01-02 slaves were supposed to be good. Anyone else ever have one replaced under warranty??

I had a 5yr/100,000 mile warranty and had my slave replaced under warranty the first time it gave out (~38,000 miles). However, the warranty is up now and I am thinking I need another (~75,000 miles). They replaced my slave, but I still paid to put in a new clutch. I do believe it will also be time for the clutch again too..... Good luck.
