Weird shifting problem HELP Hi there i have a 2000 z28 camaro i bought it from a 50yr old woman So i do not know the history of the clutch assembly. Pretty sure its not aftermarket but do not konw if it is a stock one. the car has 95k miles. My problem is that when i was racing it i started in 2nd gear shifted into 3rd (FINE) then when it was time to shift into 4th at around 6k it didnt want to go into gear. This happend 3 times in a row within a 2 min period. It has happend to me at the track before mostly hapen's with im going into 4th, it has also happend to my friends 98 z28 m6. Any advice ? Do i need to do the drill mod ? Sorry im new to the manual transmission.

This is the classic feedback of why one does ( needs to do)the drill mod.For me . it was a 3rd gear event. Perhaps I shift quicker in 3rd. Yes you should do the drill mod if you are going to do repeated quick shifts.
