Question 6pd with mech. speedo?????

I am putting a LS1 in my 79 Z28 with a 6speed tranny. BUT, I want to use a mech. speedo, not the electrial ones like that of a LS1 T56.
which 6speed will be the best with a mech. speedo???

thanks much

I think www.ddperformance.com has something that can help you. You would prolly need to call them though. Also search here in the conversion/hybrid section?

The only unit I know of is the T56 for the older mustangs . I'd suggest using the T56 with electric pickup and using an aftermarket Autometer Speedo that runs off of hall effect . You can program it to be within +/- 1 mph with any given tire size or gear ratio .
