Default Problem with bleeding clutch

went to bleed my clutch the other night and we encountered a lil problem. the bleeder valve seems to be pused in the corner of the lil barrier its in making it difficult/impossilbe to get a socket on? ive heard you could just gently take a screwdriver or alen wrench and pry it to the middle of the barrier thing and it would be ok? has this happened to anyone?
thanks for the help
