Question Loud noise question

In the last few weeks my car has made a loud bang noise twice. The first time I was accelerating onto the highway, I went through first gear shifted hard into second gear the car lost traction, and right when the car hooked a loud bang. Today I was going around a corner in second gear about 3 or 4k rpm's, floored car the car lost traction fish tailed, and right when the car hooked another loud bang.

I put this in the transmission section because I think it is the transmission mount, and just wanted to know if anybody else has had this problem. Everything else seems to be running/operating good. All comments are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Eric

Sounds like the tranny mount to me. Go with a polyurethane one, you'll be glad you did.

Not that I can remember, I'm going to replace the trans mount and check out the torque arm and see if I can make it happen again.
