Default Pro 5.0 and lss

How many noticed a diffrence in 1/4 mile times. Because right now that is the problem with my car im a little slow on shifting and it is tough getting into third so im thinkin that a new shifter will improve that

Many have suggested the UMI stick. I am thinking about going with the Pro 5.0 and UMI handle. It is bent towards the driver and is supposed to feel nicer and be easier to use.

Cool, thanks. I didn't know that. Maybe I will stick with the afterthoughts auto package for the Pro 5.0 and LSS (it's on my Christmas list). I couldn't really tell from the pictures as it was taken an an angle that made the LSS look straight.

With it bent towards the driver, do you still hit your elbow on the seat bolster when going into 2nd? Or do you now have a little more room? Just wondering as that is one of my major complaints with the stock shifter.

Glad to help

How did you purchase it? I didn't see anything come through and wanted to make sure I didn't miss it. Thank you!

Nice, I am definitely going with the UMI.

Do you recommend using it with the Pro 5.0 or the Hurst? And if it is just a matter of preference, then what are the differences?

The short stick will fit and feel great on both the stock Hurst and the Pro 5.0. Although it feels good on the Hurst, the Pro 5.0 does a much better job of protecting the transmission if you miss a gear. I recommend to get the Pro 5.0 sometime down the road.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the response. I will take your advice and go with the Pro 5.0 and UMI.

Unfortunately, I need to spend my dough on rebuilding my messed up transmission first.
