i dont see why it would be so long as your not grinding the gears.

its a good trick to know of your hydrolics blow out

my pops always used to do it in his truck, said he didnt have to push the clutch cuz he was tired...it wont hurt anything

you just have to find that sweet spot in the rpm where the syncros line up and you can slide it into gear

It's something I do on rental cars, just to see if I can fu** it up before I give it back
I'd never do it with mine unless absolutely necessary!

Although it will do this easily to start, it puts a lot of needless wear on your synchronizer friction material. This will cause early synchro probs. I suggest you shift normally.

I had to do it when my hydros were going out to get alittle more life untill my new stuff came. I can pull outta a gear at 3k and shift up as its going down untill like 2500.

It's called rev matching, and yes you can do it with an M6, or any manual trans, it's not going to do your synchros much good to do it alot, but once in a while, or in a emergency, it can be quite handy to know how to do it

Anyone have a good estimation and what RPM to do this at with each gear? I don't want to do it but I've been having a wierd clutch issue for a while now and i'd like to have an idea so I can get by with it if I absolutely have to.
