Default does this kill my clutch?

Hey guys, i have a 99 SS M6 and i just wanted to know if when im at a stoplight and i keep my foot on the clutch and keep the car in gear... does that hurt the clutch to keep it in like that? would it be better if i took it out of gear and put it into neutral? Thanks

No, its not bad for it. If you have the cluth pedal in all the way then the clutch is disengaged and is not slipping.

It might wear out the throw out bearing a littler faster since the throw out bearing is being used more

so then its better to get it out of gear? like to put it in neutral when you get into stops rather than keeping your foot on the clutch?

As long the the clutch is completly pushed in or let off it shouldnt matter since its disengaged. Just dont keep the clutch pedel pushed in half way either push it in all the way or let it off.
