Default New Gm Master And Slave Question..pre Blead?

has anyone just taken the gm slave and master right out of the box, snapped them together and been on thier way, because i got a new master and slave from gm, and it looks like its all blead already, but im wondering if its going to break the seal in the slave when i compress it and just snap the two stock lines togetherand push in the clutch

I know the master cylinder comes pre-bleed, but not sure about the slave cylinder. I would assume it is also pre-bled since the MC is also.

I think you'll have to open the bleeder a little in order to fit the quick disconnect fitting onto the slave, but that shouldn't introduce too much air. I insert a plastic plug into the hole in the master reservoir when opening the bleeder on the slave to minimize the fluid loss/air suckage - kind of like putting your finger on the top end of a straw....

Always best to connect them up and bleed the daylights out of them together as extra insurance, because you would sure hate to rip all that crap back off when you have to bench bleed it.
