Has anyone used penzoil Synchromesh for their T56
I'm putting in a new clutch, and I had gm synchromesh tranny fluid in my car, but I really don't want to spend another $40 on tranny fluid. Has anyone used the penzoil synchromesh tranny fluid with any luck? How does it compare to the gm stuff?

I didnt use the Syncromesh, but i did use the regular penzoil ATF Dex III. It was like 6$ for a 4 qt. jug at pepboys. My car shifts fine. However, i havent used any other brands, so that is as much as i can tell you. HTH

Hey guys, its funny that this was brought up b/c the last few days my car has been kind of a pain to shift. I just got a brand new clutch, flywheel, and Master. I changed my tranny fluid about 5k miles ago with the penzoil atf dex III. Could it be the tranny fluid that is causing the car not shifting smooth?? any help would be appreciated!
