Default Adjustable Master Cylinder?

if i got a adjustable master cylinder will it make my clutch engage lower off the floor? Cause i just got a new ls6 clutch and drove about 800 miles on it, but i dont like the way that it engages way up, is this normal? If i got the McLeod Adjustable will that alow me to engage lower? also wondered if i could rig the stocker to adjust, if i can tell me how. thanks

Mine was engaging too close to the floor and I made a new GM master adjustable works great do a search on here for stock adjustable master its pretty simple take your time and don't thread the rod down too far like I did the first time and snapped the rod!!
Ended up trading it on a 2005 GTO 6-spd LS2 400 horses 6yr/60,000 last week, previous owner of my SS did to much **** to the car.
