i need a new clutch, my spec 3 is ****. id like an OEM clutch taht can stand around 430 rwhp and the LS7 makes at least that. i dont have money to play games with clutches and need something that can slip and be good for a DD.
any recommendations and comments please, but i have seen 4 cars with specs and 3 of them have let go already so dont recommend them again to me please.

lol good luck with the oem clutch search that will hold 450 and slip some. i have not had a problem with spec or any of my friends that have spec. Its like cars some people get them and never have a problem with it and some say they havent had nothing but problems.

the ls7 makes more power than i do, which is why i ask about it becuase if it can handle that power and last it should work for me.
every one of teh cltuches that has messed up, and these are only people i know personally becuase i know many others with failures, all the installs and break ins were done to a T. i cant afford to "try" spec again

Yes, it will work..
You need the LS2 corvette flywheel with the LS7 clutch/pressure plate, i'm doing one in the next couple of months..
There have been new Z06's with headers dynoing 490+ rwhp with no problems with the stock clutch that i've heard.

That is why I'm glad to know a guy at a gm dealer where I get cost for the parts!
