Hard to get into first gear.

Default Hard to get into first gear.

The past 2 days my car has been very diffiult to get into first gear, and grinds if i try to shift gears faster than normal. What's wrong with it?

Sounds to me like you have a slave going out or air in the system. Check the fluid level and check back in.

i have the same problem and people been telling me that i should do the drill mod and change my clutch fluid

yea, my clutch fluid looks like burned oil and i guess its low, didnt see any lines on the resivour though.

Do you have someone to help you bleed the system? If so, just make shure you keep plenty of fluid in the reservior-check it every two bleeds. See how it does and repost. Also, you can check the rod where it comes into the car on the clutch master cyl. Check to see if your low fluid is caused by it leaking at the back of the clutch mastercyl.

uhh dont really have anyone to help. Neither my dad nor i have had a M/t car and i dont know anyone nearby, plus its snowing. lol.

Is there any write up anywhere on how to do this?

It may need a new clutch assembly.

Try putting it into reverse before you go for 1st gear, that should help until you can check out the hydraulics. Bob
