Default M6 and 12 bolt =No No?

Purchased the car like this and a lot of people wonder why I have a 12 bolt rear?

Moser 12 bolt btw.....

Why is a 12 bolt so bad w and M6? I know im losing some Hp cause its so heavy and all but isnt it a much stronger unit?

12 Bolt isnt bad at all some since you have a m6 which are harder on rears they say a 9' is best for m6s since the rears take so much of a shock on launch

why not? as long as that weak *** 10 bolt is nowhere to be seen, you're better off.

The Moser 12 bolt is indeed an excellent rear-end for your car. Whoever told you that it should have the 10 bolt does not have much experience with them. Bob

It's a lot stronger than the stock unit. Be thankful it's there--saved you a couple grand having to do it yourself.

Whoever is wondering why you have a 12 bolt must be doing so since you don't have a 9". The 9" is about as close to indestructible as you can get so some people say as a rule of thumb that a m6 should get a 9" and an a4 should get a 12 bolt. Nonetheless, a 12 bolt is a HUGE upgrade from the stock 10 bolt and plenty of people have run 500+ hp with one without having it crap out.

definitely be thankful you have an upgraded rear end It's a priority once you start running the m6 in low ETs!

5-6K????? on a manual?

can you teach me how to do this?

I feel like im going to break the car doing 2k or so and easing into it.

I know, I know.....the car is still damm fast even without good 60s.......1.9s to be exact.

i couldnt imagine pulling a 1.6 and lowering my car into the low elevens or 10s on spray......

im just to afraid to break a 2-3k dollar piece on the car.

just get a 12 bolt or 9" whatever, nice clutch (i have stage 4 spec), and some et streets. i didnt just go out and do it. i increased on each run. start around 4000 to get the hang of it. when i get it tuned nicely it should be a whole lot a fun

what a blast my car should be to drive when i finally get a 12 bolt in there. i still cant imagine putting my car through the torture of 6krpm dumps...just the thought alone make me cringe, but if thats what its gonna take to get me into the 10;s...than im all for it...all that cringing will go away when i get that time slip..

1. Push clutch in
2. place tranny in 1st gear
3. Rev engine to 6000 rpms
4. Slide foot off clutch
5. Hang on
