Tranny fluid low..does this sound right?

Tranny fluid low..does this sound right? I had recently been experiencing some louder that normal shifts into 1st and 2nd gear. Well the fluid was a little low so I refilled it. It still makes some noise but it isnt quite as loud. Could it just have been it was low on fluid? I did rebend the stock T/A so I could get it home so Im not sure if that fixed some of the noise I was getting as well.
