Spec Stage 3+ w/ stock flywheel? pushing 508rwhp and 548tq??
I recently purchased a spec stage 3+, I know it work with my stock flywheel after i get it resurfaced, or is there any advantage of going with a heavy duty or light wieght flywheel. right now the car is stock except a sts gt67 turbo pushing 508rwhp and 548tq @8 psi w/ methanol injection. any help please.

Ok from my understanding and from what i have found is that a light wieght flywheel makes the engine rev up faster, less rotating mass. But i have also heard that alot of guys dont like them on a turbo car,because from what i can understand is that the car might run out of turbo. I am not really sure how that can happen.

louie83 that was my thought. so you there be any diff between a heavy duty flywheel or the stock flywheel. i would think my stock flywheel would be ok, i dont plan on doing alot of hard launches, the car is not setup for that.
