i just want to check im not damaging my car here

there is no lugging feeling/sounds

after i start rolling i shift into second, before i really get moving at all, then i go to 3rd in between 12 to 15 mph

and im shifting way too soon here, or is everything fine

Guess it depends on your gear ratio...but any reason why you are shifting so soon? at 12-15mph with 3.42s you should damn near still be in 1st gear unless you are shifting at or under 2000rpms. With 4.11s I am in third at around 20-25mph. What RPM do you shift at?

probably trying to save gas just need to get a honda or kia for a daily driver

where are you shifting at 1200 rpms? i usually shift between 2800-3200 just driving regular

i just assumed i was saving gas, should have a dd by the end of summer

when i drive tomorrow ill see what rpms im at, i wasnt paying attention, just as soon as i could make the shift w/ out lugging it down

Ain't torque great? You are sving gas keeping the Rs down.
