Default changing clutch master cyl, need advice

had a problem that 's getting worse, 2001 ws6 t/a w/ 30k miles

need to know if i've correctly diagnosed the problem, and also details on replacing clutch master cylinder.

problem is that clutch is bleeding off pressure, bot no leaks. if i hold the pedal in too long, the car will stick into gear and conk out (as if engaged). i can put light pressure on the pedal and it sinks to the floor....

have a new clutch master cylinder on order, but not here yet. have removed clutch master cylinder from firewall but there seems to be a roll pin holding the braided line to the cylinder. Also was a trick getting the cylinder with the actuation rod past the steering, what's the tricks?? daily driver, gotta go to work!!

You have to remove the quick connect at the trans slave and then the line will come out with the master and then you can get to the roll pin.

You will see a white nylon sleeve down there. push on the outer edges of the sleeve and push in on the line slightly and the sleeve will go in releasing the barbs that hold the line in. I use a needle nose plyers on both sides at once and it works well.
