Default At what point do i need an upgraded clutch?

i have a 98 Z28, with just the mods in my sig.

The only near future mods i would be doing, would be getting the exhaust a little more free flowing, and some basic tuning.

i know about the 98-99 hydrolics need to be upgraded, but at what point is it really necessary that i go with a better than stock clutch? i hear about the LS7 clutch or the corvette C5 Z06 clutch and what not..

so should i replace the stocker (when the time comes) with something better or will the stock unit be sufficient?

Power wise you'll be fine with another stock one but you might as well get a ls6 clutch if you're going to get a new one. Or money pertmitting...textralia.

At what point do you need an upgraded clutch? When your old one starts slipping. If it doesn't show any signs of slipping, maybe just upgrade the hydraulics, perform the drill mod, insulate the line running from the MC to SC, and bleed the hydraulics.
