Default Need help with tranny install!!

I desperatly need help installing this tranny.

The whole k-member is out of the car as I am in the processing of swapping the motor. I got everything together on the motor and now need to get the tranny back on. Does the bellhousing bolt to the tranny and then the block or does it bolt to the block and then the trans. I am having a hell of a time getting the tranny shaft to slide in all of the way. I am just out of reach of the tranny bolts.

HELP!!!

I just removed/installed my T-56 and I just unbolted the tranny from the bellhousing. From what I have read most people take the tranny out first then remove the bellhousing, because it is almost impossible to get the BH bolts out while the tranny is still in.

bolt the bellhousing to the motor first. Then stab the tranny
