Default Harlan 2-Step for Powershifting?

Has anyone ever used a Harlan 2-step for powershifting, i.e. set the 2-step 500-600 RPM under your desired rev-limit and then stand on the gas the whole run, actuating only the clutch pedal when you need to shift?

I know it's really bad on the engine to hit the rev-limiter supplied by the PCM because it's a fuel cutoff, but would a selective spark limiter be easier on the internals?

well then you motor would allready be past the two step limit. E.G. 1000,2000,3000,4000,5000,6000,6100,6200,6300,6400, 6500,6600 SHIFT!!!! (with two step set at 6200 RPM's 500 under a 6700RPM redline the motor is past the limtie so i bet its really hard on motor. and when I make a run i don't hit the limiter even with power shifting at 6600)

I use a Harlan 2 step which makes me more accurate. I think it is one of the best inventions and have used the same one for more than 3 years.
