Default Ram Adjustable Master Cylinder

I'm curious what those of you who are using the Ram adjustable master think of it. Has it performed well? It's my understanding that it's an OEM master that's modified to allow adjustability. Does this modification increase the risk of the part failing?

Just looking for some feedback from those who have used it.

Thanks,
Josh

I am about to try this https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/317767-stock-adjustable-master-cylinder-writeup.html
. I just installed my spec stage 3 and I got a brand new stock master, this looks pretty easy to do and I have heard some good results.

I have had mine for a while and it has done great. The quality of the modification to the stock m/c was first class and definitely better than stock.

Another happy customer here with the adj master from ram. It was very nice to be able to decide where my pedal is for engagement.

The modification to the OEM master is good. It allows nice adjustability. As long as you're aware that it is the OEM master clyinder.

EDIT: ohh yeah. One other thing is that the ring on the end of the Ram Master was too wide. I needed to shave some material off each end to get the retaining clip on. If I didn't have a dremel, I'd have been screwed.

I am having the same issue with that retaining clip now. Did you guys grind the master eye ring with the master installed?

I just unscrewed the rod end, grinded down, then put it back on. all while the master was bolted in.

I had the same problem with my RAM master a while back. I bought mine about a year ago and it is working perfectly. I just forced the clip onto mine. It finally went on and it hasnt come off yet. You just gotta want it. Anyhow to answer the question of the twin disc mcleod, no you cannot use it for that clutch. My friend bought one for his ZO6 and has the twin disk mcleod, we put it on and the clutch wouldnt work at all.

Will the ram master work with a textralia clutch? Is it a better idea just to use the stock master or is it recommended to use this one?

The RAM master is a stock master with the adjustable end welded on.
