I did a google search on "fred beans" and I came up w/ a dealership. This leads me to beleive you could go to your local chevy dealership and order an LS7 clutch and LS2 flywheel.......right?? I am looking into a new clutch as well.

You could, but they may charge GM's list price. That's what the local dealer here does, so the online retailers are almost always cheaper.

I just called them.

$550 shipped for the LS7 Clutch, PP, and Ls7 Flywheel.

Good deal? Dont I need to use the LS2 flywheel on my 2000 LS1?

On T56Rebuild's site it lists the LS2 flywheel as part of the $550 LS7 clutch package. I'm going to order shortly.

No it is a LS7 Clutch, LS7 Pressure Plate and LS2 Flywheel. You have to use the LS2 flywheel as the LS7 will not work on the LS1.

Thanks,
Amber
