Default How many people have gone "pro-shifted" with T-56?

I have been tossing this around lately, and wanted to see if there was any negatives to doing it. I have always wanted to be able to shift really fast with no worries attatched.

I put in a Pro 5.0 and I like it a lot. The B&M Ripper is also a goos shifter. Can't say which one is better, but either one is better than the stock shifter.

Shame on Hurst.

I have one in my car and no it is not streetable in my opinion. You have to slam it into gears, it is horribly noisey and from talking to liberty, you can actually do some damage to the sliders if you try to drive it on the street. The pro-shifted tranny was meant for racing only.

Thanks,
Joe

Mine is pro-shifted. I wouldn't recommend it for the street even though I drive it on the street. Its diffenitly not for someone who ain't a "real driver" like my old lady. But thats one hella of a reason why she can't drive it.....

Ditto. I've driven mine on the street, and it's... interesting. I don't recommend it on the street either. Leaving 5th and 6th synchronized makes those the most used gears. Lots of 1st - 5th shifts. (with 4.56 gears it's possible).

I have found the answer to this answer about 4 years ago.
I take it you don't know what pro-shifted is.
