GMR installed a spec 5 in my twin turbo car. Holding strong so far. Joel got to drive it the other day and said engagment is "either in or out". There are no springs in that disk to allow for a smooth slip but there are several here on the board DDing these spec 5s.

the thing that bothers me is the squealing.. chatter can be bad or not there depending on how you clutch it.

So it's an all or not type clutch?? It's just I'm in between this one and the twin disc from Mcleod...The Mcleod is obviously more expensive but if this one will do the trick then I'll just put that money somewhere else...

MM, what's the word on you these days? After the meth mishap I heard you were thinking 402 ls2. Guess you made a full recovery since the jackstand mishap??

Textralia OZ700 is holding up to a TR224 cam and the STS w/ 5PSI just fine.

I'm using a Ram stage 3 on my deal @ 7#, with MT Radials, 4.10's and a 6 speed, seems to work great. Need taller tires/gear to load the motor sooner, but haven't seen any slipping. I've been very happy with my stage 3, even when it was NA, doesn't chatter a lot, real streetable and hooks up.

the s4 is great for the street i thought... the 5 acts just as good but there is a metal to metal squeal that often comes along with it.. and could be very annoying to some customers.

i daily my car of course it can be done.. just depends what you are interested in dealing with.

93 form: the car is now a 6.0 ls2 aluminum block with a zo6 cam, i was just getting all that buttoned up in november when I got hurt. I get around pretty fine now. I'm still very weak on my right side and can't do heavy stuff with it. The the ribs that were completely broken in two are still separated, and the doc's think they will likely NOT grow back together. The cracked ones are all looking great. And the collar bone is good other than the bone sticking up in the middle. Thanks
