I have noticed that ever since it started to get cold in the morning on my way to work the clutch pedal has more free play at the top but after about 10 miles of driving it seems to loose the free play and is back to normal. Is it bad to add DOT 4 or DOT 4+ to the fluid. I personally think it is a cold weather thing becuase if it is warm then it doesn't seem to happen as often. Thanks.

Mine's been doing that for 2 years, only when it's below 40 degrees out. I have a winter car so I don't have that problem anymore as I only drive the TA when it's nice out. Anyway it's normal to me. Not sure about the fluid question.
