Default PLease explain why? (McLeod question)

I just bought a McLeod clutch. It is for a Vett, but I have been told it wont work on a fbody car. I have been getting conflicting information. A reputable shop tells me it can be done and others tell me it cant be. Anyone have any real info for me? Thanks.

As Far as I know the Clutch in the C5 Vette is the same as the Clutch in the LS1 powered Fbody. Thus the reason they put Z06 clutches in Fbodies, when Going with stock.
Should work. But you will need the Bigger Bore Mcleod Master cylinder to make it work Right.
The stock one does not move enough Fluid to disengage the clutch.
