Question Piecing together a RAM clutch

I was shopping around online at one of the big parts retailers and came up with the following prices..
RAM 402L PP~$150
RAM 1550 billet steel FW~$250
RAM 910 disk~$216

So roughly $616 for a RAM clutch setup versus $800+ for a RAM VDS with the same stuff. So why should I buy a VDS kit instead of putting it together myself? Is there something I'm missing by not spending the extra $200 for the "kit"? Thanks guys.

Larry
