Default running spec 5 on the street?

is anyone running the spec 5 on the street, as I am thinking about getting this or the spec 3+ for my car. I will also be going turbo. I will put about 40 miles a day on this set up, and don't want to kill myself to drive it everyday.

Also thinking on the textrilla, and the centerforce dfx. any opinions

Running a spec5 here in a full on DD. If you're going to see bumper to bumper traffic most of the time every day then don't get it. I have no complaints besides a little squealing till break in is over. Love the way is grabs! Running 725rwhp here. Go for it if the above mentioned situation isn't you.

What are your power levels? If you don't need a spec5 then don't get it cause the spec3 has springs and will be much more friendly. Something else to consider would be the new spec twin disk setup.

I now know 2 tech members that spell bumper "bumber". The Spec twin disk setup is still in prototype phase and will hopefully be released soon.

I drive my Spec 5 on the street, but its a weekend and somewhat track car so it doesn't see everyday traffic. I like it a lot on the street and believe it has good drivability. Just don't know how long it will last in a daily driver being it is a strip clutch.

The Spec 3+ would make an excellent clutch for bumper to bumper traffic. It is more expensive than the Spec Stage 5 though. Bob

I did not see a 4+ on the web sight but the 3+ is supposed to hold 850ft lbs of tq and the 5 is 1050. I have fried the last 2 spec 3's in a matter of months and am now going to a 3+ but really thinking about doing the 5. How long are the 5's lasting on ocassional street cars that see the track 2 times or so a month with my hp?
