Default Spec stage 5 soaked with brake fluid

I just pulled my transmission and found out why it was slipping. I had brake fluid in the bellhousing and if got the clutch and pressure plate wet. Since it is the stage 5, would I be OK just cleaning it off with brake cleaner and letting dry real good? The clutch is still in great shape, practically new. I am looking to sell it, but don't want to sell it if it will not work properly.

What can I do?

Thanks,
Kevin

check your slave cylinder.

Call SPEC and tell them what happened.I would think if you spray everything with brake cleaner all would be good, since the disk is sintered metal.

I would bet brake cleaner will work fine. I also agree your slave cylinder is probably the cause of this.

Yeah I was thinking about it later and I agree. I know I bled it a lot, but since there was no way for the fluid to get out this probably only added to the slave leaking.

Thanks,
Kevin
