Default clutch pedal stop

Have just recently installed a new clutch master cylinder and was wondering when you let up on the clutch pedal what stops the pedal at the top ot the travel. I didn't see any kind of stop on the pedal arm or on linkage any were. Looks like to me that what stops it is the rod in the end of the master is what stops it. If this is true isn't that a little hard on the plastic piece that is in the end of the master cylinder and it could cause it to break if you realy were dumping the clutch pedal hard.

Default

Yes, the master cylinder itself is what stops it, but im not sure about the stress on it being a problem
