Default Shimming RAM HD

I have a quick question for you all... My first RAM HD just went out on me a week ago and am getting ready to stick a new one back in it. I also have the RAM billet steel flywheel. I had the flywheel resurfaced 8 thousands (.008). The shim available from RAM that I purchased is .150". The instructions with the shim say not to use it unless you resurface your flywheel twice. I spoke with TSP about this and they said that I should use it. I also have an adjustable master. Should I or should I not use it? Thanks!

i used it with a new flywheel/clutch kit and my engagement stayed the same...your engagement may move down a little since the flywheel was turned

Well, I can't use the shim. It's way too big. I can't get the transmission all the way in with it. Thank god I have an adjustable master to play with. Oh well.
