Tips on break in?
Just ordered me a new clutch/flywheel/etc....the works. LS7 by the way. I realize that you need to go easy on new clutches for the first 500 miles or so, but exactly how do you do that? I tend to slip the clutch often to get her going in rush hour and whatnot. Sorry if I need a little inexperienced here but how do you get the car moving (especially uphill) without slipping it and without making the car lurch?

When you begin to get a better feel for your clutch you will notice exactly where the engage point is. Hold it a little bit below that and also the brake. When you see traffic moving, slowing release the break and clutch at the same time. I was horrible at going uphill but now can easily take off with only the clutch...uphill. Dont power shift, pop the clutch, simply take it easy on it.
